Reminders
* Wednesday's unplanned power outage in Devlin Hall will continue through today (Thursday, Aug. 8), because of extensive main building power board damage sustained Tuesday evening. Devlin Hall should reopen for normal business hours Friday, Aug. 9.
* The RSC is undergoing Phase 2 of the extensive renovation of the facility. During Phase 2 of construction, the RSC is still open and services are being relocated to the new north end of the building.

* Wichita State has changed the designation of two existing parking lots to faculty/staff parking. The lots are Lot 16S (the Duerksen Fine Arts Center lot on the east side of Perimeter Road) and Lot 14 near Grace Wilkie Hall. A larger version of the map is available on the Shocker Parking homepage.

* The Media Resources Center Instructional Technology group has posted its faculty development schedule for the fall semester. New features this year include monthly Brown Bag discussions, "Blackboard Tuesdays," suggested prerequisites, and more. * The WSU Foundation's fiscal year 2013 closed with more than $22.5 million in total giving, including nearly $5 million from 19 estate gifts, according to Elizabeth King, WSU Foundation president and CEO.
