Wichita State's Center for Economic Development and Business Research invites you to a webinar conference call to review the WSU Leading and Current Index numbers at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. CEDBR director Jeremy Hill will present the most recent index values and discuss what those values reveal about the local economy. The index values are updated monthly and can be viewed or downloaded at www.Index.CEDBR.org. Registration to the webinar is not required.

The new WSU Current Conditions Index consists of Wichita's total nonfarm employment number and unemployment rate, as well as Wichita's average weekly hours and average weekly earnings of production employees in the manufacturing industry.

The WSU Leading Economic Index consists of the national aircraft and parts industrial production and total industrial production indices, as well as the Kansas Leading Index and the Organization for Economic Co-Operation and Development Composite Leading Indicators (an international index).
