Reminders

* Help beautify the north exterior wall of the Dunbar Theatre at 1007 N. Cleveland from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26. The Dunbar Theatre, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1941 and is in the process of being renovated. This project is a collaboration between WSU Student Involvement, Ulrich Museum, Power CDC and the city of Wichita. The deadline to RSVP is today (Friday, Aug. 23).

* The Norman Magic Experience will be presented at 8 p.m. today (Friday, Aug. 23) in the CAC Theater. There is a nominal admission charge; free for students with WSU ID.

* Wichita State's School of Performing Arts has released its calendar of events for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

* Two orientations for undergraduate students interested in the social work program will be held from 8-9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in 114 Lindquist Hall, and 5-6:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in 107 Devlin Hall. Information about the BSW program, the application process and more will be provided.

* Student Involvement will offer several seminars for recognized student organizations adviser training during fall 2013. Interested advisers or faculty/staff currently advising or interested in advising recognized student organizations are encouraged to attend. * Student Involvement features a collection of photos titled "Shockers Beyond the Classroom" in Cadman Art Gallery now through Friday, Oct. 11. The Cadman Art Gallery is located on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center and currently serves as a temporary location for Commerce Bank.
