* Kansas NSF EPSCoR (KNE) is seeking white papers for collaborative initiatives to be included in its next Research Infrastructure Improvement Track-2 proposal to be submitted to the National Science Foundation in January 2014. The white paper will be due to KNE no later than Saturday, Aug. 31, and should be emailed to nsfepscor@ku.edu. Please see the NSF program solicitation for more information.

* Student Involvement needs volunteers to serve as judges for the Man and Woman of the Year competition. Volunteers need to be available the week of Sept. 23 to review applications and from noon-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, to conduct interviews.
