On Saturday, Sept. 14, Wichita State will send a small group of students and staff to Moore, Okla., to continue the clean-up and redevelopment in the aftermath of the city's tornado damage. This experience will allow volunteers to as help with assessing need, working on property projects and supporting the distribution center. These efforts are facilitated through Serve Moore, an organization of nonprofits and community partners seeking to support the redevelopment of the area. There are limited spaces available for faculty and staff, and volunteers will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for registration is Friday, Sept. 6.
