2014 economic forecast to be released at conference

The 34th Annual Wichita Area Economic Outlook Conference will be held from 7:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in Century II Convention Hall. Speakers will be William C. Dunkelberg, chief economist for the National Federation of Independent Business; Nathan S. Kauffman, economist with the Omaha branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, who will discuss the outlook for agriculture; Robert F. St. Peter, president and CEO of the Kansas Health Institute; and Jeremy Hill, director of WSU's Center for Economic Development and Business Research, who will provide the 2014 economic forecast for the Wichita area.
Tickets are $95 through Sept. 13; $125 after that date. Ticket price includes breakfast.
