* The University Bookstore has officially relocated to their temporary locations. Soft goods are located in room 142 RSC and textbooks are located in 233 RSC. They will be open for business from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 6), and will resume normal business hours next week.

* The lecture series in mathematical sciences presents a lecture by professor Toby Driscoll of the University of Delaware, "Numerical Computing with Function," at 3 p.m. today (Friday, Sept. 6) in 372 Jabara Hall.

Check out the new online guides and demonstrations found in EmpHelp (orange cube underneath the weather in myWSU). Click on Microsoft, then Microsoft Office Products Learning Guides and Handouts and, finally, What is New in Office 2013. * Faculty and staff are invited to the annual Admissions and Financial Aid Workshops for the latest in admissions information, policies and recruiting practices on Sept. 18 and Oct. 8. Use the information to support recruitment efforts from the perspective of your department. In addition, the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will present the latest in financial aid guidelines and scholarship practices to interested individuals immediately following the admissions session.

* Student Involvement is looking for volunteers to serve as judges for the Man and Woman of the Year competition. Volunteers will need to be available the week of Sept. 23 to review applications and be available from noon-5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, to conduct interviews.
