The Office for Faculty Development and Student Success is offering the session "The New(ish) Professor as Researcher" from 1:30-3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in 211 Engineering Building. One of the challenges of being a tenure-track faculty member is establishing yourself as an independent researcher at the same time you are taking on many other new things. This meeting of the Pre-Tenure Club, open to anyone on the tenure track, will provide an opportunity to strategize about creating a research record worthy of earning tenure while balancing the competing demands on your time.
