Join Communication Sciences and Disorders at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at 332 E. 1st St. for "A Red Carpet Affair" -- the annual champagne and chocolate fundraising event sponsored by the Wichita Scottish Rite (WSR) for WSU's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. All proceeds benefit the clinic to assist children with various types of communication disorders. Call WSR at 263-4218 by Oct. 1 for tickets.

This year's theme entices you to adorn your most fabulous red and/or black dress, tux or business attire, for a night out on the town. It promises to be a night to remember with food, friends and fun; including the ever popular live and silent auctions.

Theme colors are red and black; formal wear highly encouraged. Feel free to invite family, friends and colleagues -- and as an added bonus this year, each ticket holder will also receive a commemorative champagne flute to take home.
