* The Shockers volleyball team will host the Shocker Volleyball Classic today (Friday, Sept. 20) through Sunday, Sept. 22, in Charles Koch Arena. * When thinking about the Great Plains, the importance of prairie fires is often overlooked. Come listen as Julie Courtwright, assistant professor of history at Iowa State University, discusses her book "Prairie Fires: A Great Plains History" at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, in the Ulrich Museum of Art conference room. * AHINSA, Association of HINdu Students in America, and the Ulrich Museum of Art will host "Colors and Flavor" from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21. Experience the vibrance of India under one roof, with Rangoli competitions, games, food and more. It is a visual treat to watch designs made of bright colored sands on the floor. Snacks and game tickets will be sold.
