* The Fall 2013 Chemistry Department Colloquium will feature Phillip Klebba of Kansas State University presenting "Active ion transport through an un-energized membrane" at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 25) in 224 McKinley Hall.
* A presentation on decriminalizing marijuana will occur at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in 128 Jabara Hall. Because no one was available to debate Mr. Cole, both those opposing decriminalization and the general university community are invited to challenge him. The meeting is being held in a large room to allow many interested persons to attend. Joint sponsors are the Political Science Club and Professor Mel Kahn's American Politic course.
* "Hunting a Doe," the winner of Wichita State's annual National Playwriting Competition, will be performed today (Wednesday, Sept. 25) through Sunday, Sept. 29, in the Hughes Metropolitan Complex.

* Faculty are invited to attend a get together with Vice President for Academic Affairs Anthony Vizzini, sponsored by American Association of University Professors. An informal talk is scheduled from 3:30-5 p.m. Friday Sept. 27, in 130 Hughes Metropolitan Complex (enter through hallway C). * The Sketchbook Project's Mobile Library will stop in Wichita Sept. 26-27 for two days of activities at WSU, Wichita High School West and ShiftSpace, the student gallery for WSU's School of Art and Design.

* The Department of Human Performance Studies is sponsoring a golf tournament Saturday, Oct. 5. The four-person golf scramble begins at 1 p.m. at Braeburn with a shotgun start. Proceeds will benefit the department's athletic training, exercise science and physical education student organizations.
