* All WSU classified employees are encouraged to complete a survey by Monday, Oct. 14, from the Alternative Service committee regarding the potential move to University Support Staff (USS) or to continue as State Civil Service employees. Respondents are providing the committee with important data that addresses any questions or concerns on the USS process. * The Office for Faculty Development and Student Success is offering Scientific Teaching from 12:30-1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, in 211 Neff Hall. Scientific Teaching applies the practices and values of science to teaching scientific content, but these strategies can be used in any classroom.
