* Faculty, staff and students are invited to the INTERFEST food festival from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 8) on the Heskett Center west lawn between Hubbard Hall and the Heskett Center. Tickets are sold in increments of $1 each. The festival provides a platform for inter-cultural sharing and serves as a fundraiser for international student organizations.

* The Office of Faculty Development and Student Success will present the Boyer Model of Scholarship from 2-3 p.m. today (Tuesday, Oct. 8) in 107 McKinley Hall. In the context of WSU's new strategic plan, this session will describe and promote discussion of Boyer's model and begin a conversation about how it could be adapted for our campus. * KMUW needs new and experienced volunteers to answer pledge phones during its fall on-air pledge drive that begins Wednesday, Oct. 16. Volunteers need to attend one training session for up to one hour.
