Reminders

* Registration for the Pumpkin Run is encouraged by today (Thursday, Oct. 10) to guarantee shirt size. The Pumpkin Run will be held Saturday, Oct. 19. The faculty/staff registration price of $20 is available until Friday, Oct. 18. It's a great family run because the price for students, kindergarten through college, is only $15.

* Enjoy the scents, sounds, and flavors of the Indian culture in a program at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 10) in the CAC Theater. The evening will conclude with the 2003 Indian comedy "Munna Bhai M.B.B.S." Join SAC and AHinSA for Hindi: Ek Sanskrtik Anubhav (A Cultural Experience).

* WSU's School of Performing Arts presents "The Learned Ladies" at 7:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Oct. 10) through Saturday, Oct. 12, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, in Wilner Auditorium.

* Visit WSU's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic on free hearing screening days, Monday, Oct. 14, 21 and 28, at Hughes Metropolitan Complex, Entrance T. Appointments are available from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-4:30 p.m. Current WSU faculty/staff/students are eligible for a free full hearing evaluation throughout the year, and a 10 percent discount on hearing aids. * Online Open Enrollment for health insurance is now through Thursday, Oct. 31. Human Resources is hosting informational meetings regarding Open Enrollment at various times in 265 RSC. HR representatives will present information, answer questions and hear your feedback.

* Student Involvement is introducing its new campus outreach program, the Student Involvement Ambassadors. The goal is to show the amazing benefits of getting involved on campus, and highlighting WSU offices and programs that are great resources for students.

* The annual Michael Tilford Conference on Diversity and Multiculturalism will be held at Emporia State University Oct. 21-22. Named after WSU's own Michael Tilford, the conference provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and administrators of Kansas Board of Regents institutions across the state to share ideas and resources for building culturally competent campus communities.
