The media are invited to a news conference to announce refocused and resized scholarship programs to expand opportunities for prospective and academically qualified students at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in the Morrison Hall boardroom at Wichita State University.

Wichita State President John Bardo and Deb Byers, director of financial aid, will explain the new programs and how they will reward a wider range of students for their academic excellence.
