Kansas home sales should rise by more than 5 percent in 2014 according to the 2014 Kansas Housing Markets Forecast series published by the Wichita State University Center for Real Estate. "Housing markets across the state have been strengthening for several years," said Stan Longhofer, director of the WSU Center for Real Estate. "We forecast that sales will rise by 12 percent this year and another 5 percent in 2014 to 37,820 units."
