CommonConnections is a new casual forum to discuss topics of interest that contribute to the university's success. These grassroots forums provide an opportunity for faculty and staff to meet, discuss topics of common interest and identify next steps for progress.

* The Fall 2013 Chemistry Department Colloquium will feature Chris Culbertson of Kansas State University presenting "Microfluidic Devices for Chemical and Biochemical Analysis" at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Oct. 23) in 218 McKinley Hall.

* Online Open Enrollment for health insurance is from now through Thursday, Oct. 31. Human Resources is hosting informational meetings regarding Open Enrollment at various times in 265 RSC. HR representatives will present information, answer questions and hear your feedback.

* The Tilford Commission will hold a meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in 112 Lindquist Hall, to discuss goal six of WSU's strategic plan, which states that we "be a campus that reflects -- in staff, faculty and students -- the evolving diversity of society." All faculty, staff, students and administrators interested in helping the commission advance this goal are welcome.

* The Learn More -- WSU 2013 Technology Fair, will be held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Ablah Library. Faculty, staff and students are sharing some remarkable ways they use today's technology at this year's technology fair.
