* The St. Petersburg Quartet concert scheduled for today (Monday, Oct. 28) has been canceled.
* The Tilford Commission will hold a meeting from 3:30-5 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 28) in 112 Lindquist Hall, to discuss goal six of WSU's strategic plan, which states that we will "be a campus that reflects -- in staff, faculty and students -- the evolving diversity of society." Faculty, staff, students and administrators interested in helping the commission advance this goal are welcome.
* The agenda for the meeting of the Faculty Senate at 3:30 p.m. today (Monday, Oct. 28) in 126 Clinton Hall is available at http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=facultysenate&p=/a102813/. Please note under new business, a proposal from the University Admissions and exceptions committee will be considered.
* AT&T 2013-14 telephone directories for Wichita and vicinity are available for pick-up by faculty and staff in the Jabara Hall basement hallway near room 027. CD-ROM directories are available in the Telecommunications office, 027 Jabara Hall: limit two per department. Recycle old telephone books in any designated recycle bin, such as the one by the west dock outside Jabara Hall, as soon as possible. Please do not leave old phone books in the basement of Jabara Hall.
