Student Health offers cold and flu season reminder

Cooler weather often signals the start of cold and flu season. A few simple measures can help you stay well and enjoy the change of seasons. Wash your hands frequently, especially after using the bathroom or before cooking or eating. Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when sneezing or coughing, and discard the tissue after use. If you can't wash after coughing or sneezing, use hand sanitizer. Clean and disinfect surfaces and objects that may be contaminated with germs, and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth as germs can be spread this way.
