Diversity workshop for faculty and staff with Zarifa Roberson

The Office of Multicultural Affairs is hosting a diversity workshop with Zarifa Roberson the CEO, founder and publisher of i.d.e.a.l. magazine (Individuals with Disabilities Express About Life). Roberson will present from 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in 231 Hubbard Hall. The purpose of this workshop is to talk about the challenges students, faculty and staff with disabilities face, and to give tips and suggestions on the best ways to serve those individuals on our campus. The first 50 people in attendance will receive a signed copy of i.d.e.a.l magazine. Roberson also will present "Live Out UR Dreams (Loud)" at 6 p.m. in the CAC Theater. Admission is free. It is sponsored by OMA, Office of Disability Services, WSU Human Resources and Student Involvement.
