The NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence in Anti-infective Discovery and Development Letter of Intent is due Friday, Nov. 8. A COBRE (Center for Biomedical Research Excellence) proposal with a theme in anti-infective discovery and development is being developed by the University of Kansas, with an overall scientific emphasis on fundamental, multidisciplinary research toward the discovery and development of strategies to prevent or disrupt infectious diseases. This competition is open to all junior investigators at KU, KSU, WSU, FHSU, PSU or KUMC, whose research embraces anti-infective discovery and development.
