Rae Lyn Mefford, a certified family nurse practitioner and founder of Advanced Mobile Healthcare, will be featured at a WSU Alumni Distinguished Speaker breakfast presentation at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Marcus Welcome Center. Mefford, who earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from WSU, founded Advanced Mobile Healthcare, which offers homebound patients in-home medical visits by physicians and nurse practitioners. Before the award-winning nurse began her own medical practice, she worked in the El Dorado Correctional Facility.
