* WSU's Office of Financial Aid will host two Student Loan Repayment Workshops from 11 a.m.-noon today (Wednesday, Nov. 6) in 211 Hubbard Hall, and from 6-7 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 6) in 218 Hubbard Hall. The sessions are geared toward graduating students. However, students who are not graduating but have questions about repayment are encouraged to attend as well. For more information, go to

* Faculty and staff are invited to discuss the future of Honors at Wichita State at information and conversation sessions hosted by Emory Lindquist Honors and the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Please join us for one of two sessions: 2-3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 6) or 2-3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, in 231 Hubbard Hall.
* Professor Kaladi Babu from Oklahoma State University will present a Physics Seminar "Neutrino Masses and the Quest for Unification" at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov.6) in 128 Jabara Hall.
* Haidar Malhi, an engineering senior, was the Knovel University Challenge weekly winner last week. Knovel is a database available through the University Libraries. Students who correctly answer a few questions in a quiz are entered into a raffle every week in this international competition. Malhi won a Roku Media Player. * The weeklong series of Finals Frenzy events is geared towards alleviating stress, distracting from the pressure of exams and altogether giving a positive kick start to finals week.
