* Transgender Day of Remembrance is from 1-3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 20) in 211 Hubbard Hall. Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the face of trans* and That Gay Group! as we discuss the similarities of transgender and cisgender individuals and why these matter. There will be a Q&A following the panel discussion.
* With the increase of students on campus with varying mental health challenges our student leaders, student organizations and faculty/staff advisers are becoming the frontlines to assess risk and the need for support. All are encouraged to attend this RSO Development seminar from 2-3 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 20) in 265 RSC, and gain an increased awareness of how you can support yourself and students in their mental health development.
* Explore the beauty of nature's artwork as WSU Choreography I students interpret the fall exhibition Nature's Toolbox through dance from 2:15-2:45 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 20) in the Ulrich Museum galleries, followed by a short reception.
* The Fall 2013 Chemistry Department Colloquium will feature Silvia Cavagnero from the University of Wisconsin presenting "Protein folding in the cellular environment" at 3:30 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 20) in 224 McKinley Hall.
* Is your dependent and/or spouse taking classes at Wichita State? The application deadline for the spring 2014 dependent/spouse tuition assistance is Sunday, Dec. 1.
