* International Education Week will feature a cultural fair from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 19) in the south lobby, Hubbard Hall. * All members of the university community are invited to the next Town Hall meeting for Classified staff from 3:30-4:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 19) in 218 Hubbard Hall, to hear the employment alternative being presented to WSU's Classified staff. While this alternative should have no direct impact on Unclassified Professional staff or faculty, the Alternative Service Committee wants an open and transparent process to ensure that all have the opportunity to hear and understand the options for Classified staff. * The Rie Bloomfield Organ Series presents Kathrine Handford at 7:30 p.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 19) in Wiedemann Hall. Handford is University Organist and Lecturer of Music at Lawrence University's Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wis., a position she has held since 2004. * With the increase of students on campus with varying mental health challenges our student leaders, student organizations and faculty/staff advisers are becoming the frontlines to assess risk and the need for support. All are encouraged to attend this RSO Development seminar from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, in 265 RSC, and gain an increased awareness of how you can support yourself and students in their mental health development. * "Conquering Content" is the topic in the Business Booster Series from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in Devlin Hall. Brandi Koskie, director of publishing at Media Refined, will be the speaker. * WSU's Association of Hindu Students in America (AHINSA) is organizing a book drive for World Wide Book Drive, a nonprofit organization to help students get involved in the fight against illiteracy. Drop off textbooks that you would like to give away now to the end of the fall semester. Look for boxes labeled World Wide Book Drive in the lobby area on the main floors at Wallace, Jabara, Hubbard and Lindquist halls.
