The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 10th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Heskett Center lobby. Everyone is welcome to enter the event by bringing a crock-pot of their chili and be eligible for the Best Student Chili, Best Faculty/Staff Chili and People's Choice Awards. Those who just want to taste chili need to only bring a canned food item or $2, which will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. Judging starts at 11 a.m. and general tasting begins at 11:30 a.m. Door prizes will also be available for students.
