* Letters of Intent for Pilot Projects for inclusion in NIH Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CBRE) in Anti-infective Discovery and Development are being solicited. Any WSU junior investigator (or established investigator with new research direction) proposing research related to anti-infective discovery and development is invited to apply by sending a LOI including a brief research description to hbcgrant@ku.edu by Monday, Dec. 9. * "Uncover Your Brand" is the topic in the Business Booster Series from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in Devlin Hall. * The Department of Human Performance Studies will hold its 10th Annual Chili Cook-off and Student Appreciation Day Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Heskett Center lobby. Enter the event by bringing a crock-pot of chili. Those who just want to taste chili need to only bring a canned food item or $2, which will be donated to the Kansas Food Bank. * New and experienced Banner schedule builders and department chairs are invited to attend the upcoming summer and fall schedule Building Training sessions presented by the University Registrar and Applications Training Jan. 7 and 8. Sections 1 and 2 are required for new schedule builders. Current builders are invited to attend one or both sessions as a refresher. Sessions are posted on myWSU, EmpHelp, myTraining.
