Starting Wednesday, Dec. 4, the front door will be locked and the lobby of the University Police Department will be closed for construction. Parking officers who handle parking ticket issues and motor pool pick-up and drop-off from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday will be located in the front office area in the old physical plant building, most recently called the publications and printing building south of the Credit Union. The move and construction are expected to take no more than two weeks, but it's not certain.

If someone comes to the UPD for police assistance, an intercom is available at the front door to contact dispatchers 24/7. Instructions may be given from there or an officer will come and talk with them outside.
