* President Bardo and First Lady Deborah will host several open houses at their home to celebrate the holiday season. Faculty and classified staff are invited today (Tuesday, Dec. 10). The Bardos hope you will plan to stop by for holiday greetings and refreshments. If you have questions, call the President's Office at 978-3001.
* The pool in the Heskett Center's Wiedemann Natatorium is being drained, and all dogs (and their owners) are invited to splash around before the water is gone. * Anxiety can hinder your ability to recall learned information and negatively impact your performance on tests. This group will focus on building skills to help you deal with anxiety while taking tests to improve performance. The group will meet next from 5:30-7 p.m. today (Tuesday, Dec. 10). If you have questions, contact Amy Barfield from the Counseling and Testing Center, at 978-3440.
* Holiday Shutdown information from Financial Operations: Because of the holiday shutdown, the last day to submit invoices, travel reimbursements and POs for payment in December is Friday, Dec. 13. Interdepartmental transfer requests (payments for services to other departments or cash transfers between departments) must be submitted to Financial Operations by Tuesday, Dec. 17, for processing in December. In addition, the Business Procurement Card transaction logs must be returned by noon Monday, Dec. 16. Also, checks received in your office need to be deposited with the cashiers prior to shutdown. Please bring these to Financial Operations by Thursday, Dec. 19, if possible.
