* The 5th award of the Maha "Maggie" Sawan Fellowship for International Graduate Students will be given to Motahareh "Sara" Bahrami Zanjani, a doctoral candidate in computer science,

* The Center for Entrepreneurship and Meritrust are hosting the 2013 Business Booster Series with "Make Your Users Love Your Website," from 12:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in 010 Devlin Hall. * Before eating all those Christmas goodies, come to Student Health to complete your biometric screening. We are offering a special Christmas price of $20 to complete the screening during the week of Dec. 16-20. No appointment is necessary. * Holiday Shutdown information from Financial Operations: Because of the holiday shutdown, the last day to submit invoices, travel reimbursements and POs for payment in December is Friday, Dec. 13. Interdepartmental transfer requests (payments for services to other departments or cash transfers between departments) must be submitted to Financial Operations by Tuesday, Dec. 17, for processing in December. In addition, the Business Procurement Card transaction logs must be returned by noon Monday, Dec. 16. Also, checks received in your office need to be deposited with the cashiers prior to shutdown. Please bring these to Financial Operations by Thursday, Dec. 19, if possible.
