* Campus Recreation will host a free family night for all WSU faculty, staff and their families from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, at the Heskett Center. The entire facility, including the gym, swimming pool, cardio room and weight room will be available for those who attend. (Cardio and weight areas are for 16 and older only.)
* Career Services will host the On Campus Jobs Fair on Thursday, Jan. 16, in the Lucas Room, second floor, Rhatigan Student Center. Representatives from WSU offices and departments will have the opportunity to meet and talk with students interested in working part time on campus. * The WSU Shocker Soc Club, Alpha Kappa Delta Honors Society and the Sociology Department invite submissions from faculty, students and researchers across Kansas for a one-day statewide Gender and Sexuality Conference, to be held Friday, March 7, at the Marcus Welcome Center. * The Institutional Review Board (IRB) has revised the application form and requirements for annual study continuation submissions. The new application form can be found on the IRB website at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?2677. For studies requiring written informed consent, the IRB now requires copies of the last three consent forms signed by enrolled subjects to be submitted along with the continuation application.
