* The Intensive English Language Center needs volunteers to be conversation leaders to spend two hours on Wednesdays helping international students practice English conversation skills. * WSU is offering an intensive MCAT, PCAT, DAT, OAT Preparatory Course starting Friday, Feb. 28. Please share this with potential interested students. * Grading for spring 2014 pre-session courses opened Wednesday, Jan. 15. Faculty can access the Banner grading form via the Teach/Advise tab in the myWSU portal. Grades for any spring class officially ending by Jan. 19 can be entered during this grading period. Grades are due by 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22. A grading email with further details was sent to faculty and staff who are flagged as eligible instructors in Banner. Questions about grading can be directed to the Office of the Registrar at 978-3090.

* Student Involvement's 2014 Spring Student Event Calendar is back for another semester. It's a great way to see all the student activities happening around campus. * The Office of Transitions and Orientation is looking for talented students to be Transition Mentors (formerly Orientation Leaders) for the 2014-2015 academic year. Transition Mentors will work with new students to help them have a successful transition to WSU. Nominations are due Friday, Jan. 31.
