* Kansas Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, Feb. 12, gives undergraduate students the opportunity to share their research with state lawmakers in Topeka. To submit a presentation for consideration, email the project title, a 250-word abstract, and a bibliography to stephanie.fowler@wichita.edu by Saturday, Jan. 25.

* Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Black Student Union for the MLK Unity Walk, aimed at remembering and continuing Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy. The candlelight procession will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, outside of Grace Wilkie, and will conclude in Pete's Place Lounge in the RSC. Hear excerpts from Dr. King's inspirational speeches while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.
