* Student Health Services will host "Ask-A-Shocker-Nurse," from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 23) in Rhatigan Student Center. A nurse from Student Health will be available to answer questions regarding healthcare services offered at Student Health, and answer questions about health or health insurance. Free stuff will be given away.

* Spend your nights with SAC. Check out the new late-night campaign featuring a diverse lineup of events. The first is "Jonathan Burns: Flexible Comedy" at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24 in the CAC Theater. SAC looks forward to keeping you entertained throughout the semester. * Housing and Residence Life will have three informational sessions for students interested in becoming resident assistants and peer academic leaders. These sessions will be at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 23) at the Fairmount Towers Private Dining Room; Tuesday, Jan. 28, in 220 Hubbard Hall, and Tuesday, Feb. 4, in the Wheatshocker Club Room.

* Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Black Student Union for the MLK Unity Walk, aimed at remembering and continuing the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The candlelight procession will begin at 5 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 23) outside of Grace Wilkie Hall, and will conclude in Pete's Place Lounge in the RSC. Hear excerpts from his inspirational speeches while enjoying a cup of hot chocolate.

* Mix and mingle with new friends and old at the opening of four new exhibitions at the winter opening reception from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Ulrich Museum of Art. * Want to learn how to find the best information in less time? A library tour will begin by the Ablah Library Circulation Desk at noon Friday, Jan. 31. Learn to find electronic articles and books after the brief tour. This is a Welcomefest Spring 2014 event. * Registration is now open for WSU students to compete in the Shocker Sprints Indoor Rowing competition from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, in the Heskett Center. It's a great opportunity to test your fitness and try something different. The 500-minute event is free. Preregistration is required by Thursday, Jan. 30, to secure a spot.
