Kansans invited to take action against hunger at 2014 Hunger Dialogue

Leaders and activists in the fight against hunger will convene in downtown Wichita, Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 25-26, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel to generate strategies and action plans for ways that college campuses can combat hunger. The Elliott School's Deborah Ballard-Reisch is on the event's planning committee.

The event brings together individuals from Kansas to build awareness, advocacy and action about hunger by sharing research, best practices and model programs. Registration for the 2014 Hunger Dialogue is open until Tuesday, Feb. 18. Cost is $75 for professionals from Kansas Campus Compact member campuses, and $80 for others. Cost for students is $50.
