* Instructors of record are reminded that the academic early alert campaign begins today (Tuesday, Feb. 25). Designed to provide timely information regarding students who are showing signs that they may be at risk of failing a course, the academic early alert program is a key aspect of WSU's efforts to increase student success. * The University Bookstore will host a Grad Fair from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. today (Tuesday, Feb. 25) and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.

* Nominations are being accepted through noon Friday, Feb. 28, for the President's Award for Distinguished Classified Service. Take this opportunity to nominate an outstanding colleague for the 2014 President's Award for Distinguished Service.

* Here's an opportunity to attend an outstanding University Leadership Development Conference led by Gerald Graham, WSU R.P. Clinton Distinguished Professor of Management and nationally recognized expert in the area of leadership. The Center for Management Development is hosting the "Leadership Conference: How Effective Leaders Get Things Done," March 31-April 2, at the CMD Training Center in the Woodman Alumni Building. * WSU's Center for Entrepreneurship is offering a spring series of eight seminars designed for entrepreneurs and small businesses seeking to keep up with the best advice for operating business in today's dynamic economic times. The seminars are from 12:30-3:30 p.m. beginning Friday, Feb. 28, in Devlin Hall. The cost is just $10 per session for faculty and staff.
