This service is available because of a partnership between the United Way of the Plains and the IRS. The site includes helpful tips and a supplemental checklist of items you might need to prepare your return at http://www.wichita.edu/osmm, the website of the Office for Student Money Management.
Note that non-residents, including international students, cannot use the myfreetaxes.com service; however, the Office of International Education makes available a different tax preparation tool for international students, Glacier -- http://webs.wichita.edu/?u=INTL&p=/Current_Students/GTP/
Computer workstations and a printer are available for anyone wishing to prepare their own taxies with either method in the Office for Student Money Management, 415 Jardine Hall. Call 978-3254 to reserve a workstation.
