* The men's basketball team will host Missouri State at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in Charles Koch Arena. The baseball team will host Long Beach State for a 1 p.m. doubleheader today (Friday, Feb. 28) and, weather permitting, at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).
* From now to Friday, March 7, go to http://www.wsudining.com/ to participate in the University Dining Services campus wide satisfaction survey. University Dining Services will donate $1 (up to $2,000) to the Kansas Food Bank for each completed survey.
* Registration for the 2014 Gender & Sexuality Conference in Kansas to be held Friday, March 7, in the Marcus Welcome Center is now open. Go to http://www.wichita.edu/j/?2762 to register.
* A training session on using Windows 8.1 will be offered from 1-3 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in 119 Jabara Hall. This hands-on training will help the user learn to use the new Windows 8 interface to navigate their computer. To view training dates and register for the class, log in to myWSU, select EmpHelp, (orange cube under the Weather) and myTraining. Click the Register button to view session details and register for training.

K-State is bringing in Ashley Finley, senior director of assessment and research at AAC&U and national author of "Using the VALUE Rubrics for Improvement of Learning and Authentic Assessment."
