* WSU will participate in a mandatory, all-campus tornado drill at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4. The ShockerAlert System will be activated and students, staff, faculty and visitors will be directed to the appropriate shelter in their buildings. * The Words for Wellness topic, "Hit Pause: Unplugging from Technology," will be presented from noon-12:30 p.m. today (Monday, March 3) in 206 Heskett Center. Learn and apply helpful ways to balance school and your online downtime. Receive some great tips while enjoying light refreshments.

* WSU graduate Jared Estes will speak to campus and community members at 7 p.m. today (Monday, March 3) in the CAC Theater. He will speak about the tragic loss of his wife, Paige, and the deadly consequences of drunk driving. Estes will document his journey to recovery after a fiery crash left him with burns covering 50 percent of his body, and his eventual realization that each setback is an opportunity to enter more deeply into the gift of life. This event is sponsored by the Delta Gamma Lectureship series. Admission is free.

* A free film screening -- "Kids for Cash" will be shown at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in 209 Hubbard Hall. In the wake of the Columbine shootings, a small town celebrates a charismatic judge who is hell-bent on keeping kids in line, until one parent questions the motives behind his brand of justice. The film provides a look behind this notorious 2009 judicial scandal. This film screening is a supporting program of the Ulrich Museum of Art traveling exhibition "Juvenile In Justice: Photographs by Richard Ross."

* Join SAC and your fellow "aca-people" at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the CAC Theater for an entertaining musical experience with Six Appeal Vocal Band. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free for students with Shocker ID. Swearing off instruments, this world-class vocal ensemble navigates multiple genres of music with a capella arrangements that span decades of classic oldies, current chart-toppers and catchy original tunes.

* From now to Friday, March 7, go to http://www.wsudining.com/ to participate in University Dining Services campus wide satisfaction survey. University Dining Services will donate $1 (up to $2,000) to the Kansas Food Bank for each completed survey.

* Wichita State presents "An Evening with Bill Hader -- Clips, Conversation, and Q&A" at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 8, in Hughes Metropolitan Complex.
