Reminders

* The Black Student Union invites fellow classmates to its next meeting at 7 p.m. today (Monday, March 10) in 228 Hubbard Hall. Its main goal is to positively represent the African-American community on and off campus through events and unity. They also hold many intriguing discussions during meetings about relevant issues affecting the Wichita area and the nation.

* Specialist and doctoral candidates who need regalia for the spring 2014 commencement should contact Julie between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday at the University Bookstore at 978-7021. Purchase orders need to be placed by Friday, March 14. Rental orders need to be placed by Friday, March 28.

* Interested in learning more about Shocker Hall and the on-campus housing options? Visit the Housing and Residence Life booth on the first floor of the Rhatigan Student Center now to March 16. Furniture will be on display, and a housing representative will be available weekdays from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

* The Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Concert Band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in Miller Concert Hall. Students are admitted free with a WSU ID.

* The WSU softball team will play Western Illinois at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at Wilkins Stadium. Students can pick up free softball tickets with a WSU ID at Wilkins Stadium one hour before the games.

* Students can now submit a request to change, add or remove their academic major and/or minor via an online process. The link for the online submission can be found in the Student Tools channel on the Home Tab in myWSU. Questions regarding the major change process can be directed to the Office of the Registrar in Jardine Hall at 978-3090, or to the college academic advising offices.

* WSU students wanting to learn more about managing their finances can get free help from certified peer financial coaches from the Office for Student Money Management in 415 Jardine Hall. OSMM, pronounced "awesome," will be open during normal office hours and will be available in the evenings by appointment.
