A Westar electrical project will cause a power outage on campus during spring break next week. A power outage is scheduled from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, that will affect Jabara Hall, Lindquist Hall, Heskett Center and Grace Wilkie Hall. This outage is being scheduled to allow for the raising of a main power building distribution switch to a level matching the expected grade of the new pedestrian plaza around the new Shocker Hall. If the planned outage is delayed by inclement weather, it will likely occur on Thursday, March 20.
