Reminders

* The first of two forums scheduled to discuss the draft proposal to modify the KBOR Social Media Policy as created by the Workgroup appointed by KBOR will be held from 10-11 a.m. today (Tuesday, March 18) in 266 RSC.

* The Office of Research and Technology Transfer is sponsoring a webinar entitled "Dispelling SBIR/STTR Funding Myths and Misconceptions for University-Based Innovations," from noon-1:30 p.m. today (Tuesday March 18), in 217 NIAR. Seating is limited. RSVP to becky.hundley@wichita.edu.

* A Westar electrical project will cause a power outage on campus from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, that will affect Jabara Hall, Lindquist Hall, Heskett Center and Grace Wilkie Hall. If the planned outage is delayed by inclement weather, it will likely occur on Thursday, March 20.

* Fast Break will be open this week from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday. All other food operations will resume normal hours on Monday, March 24.

* Human Resources is hosting a PeopleAdmin open lab from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25. This open lab is designed for anyone who has already completed PeopleAdmin Training and has questions as they are working in the software. To register, log in to myWSU, select the Faculty/Staff tab and select the myTraining link in the QuickLinks box.

* Senior Wednesday for active seniors age 55-year-olds and older will feature refreshments at 10 a.m. and a program at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 19, at the Ulrich Museum of Art. The Ulrich's Bob Workman will present "Return to The Clan of Munes."
