* Senior Wednesday, for active seniors aged 55 and older, will feature refreshments at 10 a.m. and a program at 10:30 a.m. today (Wednesday, March 19) at the Ulrich Museum of Art. The Ulrich's Bob Workman will present "Return to The Clan of Munes."
* There is a new contract vendor for document shredding, state contract number 39005. Document Resources Inc. replaces Cintas as our shredding contract vendor. The contract is effective April 1. Cintas will initiate a plan to pick up their containers; watch for more information. Each department needing a console for documents to be shredded should call Document Resources at 683-1444, or email sales@doc-res.com and request a container. * WSU Fire/Safety is conducting its annual fire sprinkler inspections this week, causing the fire alarm system to be sounded during inspection and testing. The alarm sounding will be kept to a short sounding only. There will be no need to evacuate the building on the sounding of the fire alarm during this testing.
* A draft of recommended changes to the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) social media policy, adopted by KBOR in December, is now available for review and comment. Feedback will be received from now through Friday, March 28. The work group's draft recommendations and the feedback form are available at http://www.wichita.edu/j/?2783
* As of Monday, March 17, the construction fencing around Shocker Hall has been expanded, blocking some major pedestrian routes to the center of campus. The expansion is necessary to allow construction to begin on a new segment of Perimeter Road to the north of Shocker Hall. The fencing will most impact the free parking lots in the northwest quadrant of campus (near Koch Arena) and students walking from Fairmount Towers. For more information, go to

Paper forms should have been received, however, it has come to our attention that some employees have not received it.
