Town Hall meetings to discuss USS conversion proposal

The Alternative Service Committee invites all classified employees and any other interested parties to attend a second round of Town Hall meetings to learn more on the final white papers for the University Support Staff (USS) conversion proposal. Members of the university's administration plan to attend. It is important for all classified employees to be allowed to attend one or more Town Hall meetings to learn what University Support Staff means to their employment, as the official vote will occur shortly after the meetings end.

The meetings will take place at:

2 p.m. Friday, April 11, in 208 Hubbard Hall

2 p.m. Monday, April 14, in CAC Theater

8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, in CAC Theater

All three meetings will be live streamed at http://www.wichita.edu/asc for employees who are unable to attend.

Wichita State University classified employees will be asked to cast their vote Wednesday, April 30-Friday, May 2, either Yes or No whether to move classified positions to University Support Staff.
