Reminders

* The faculty development event, "The Rules of the Game," originally scheduled for 3:30 p.m. today (Thursday, April 3) has been canceled. It will be rescheduled for later this semester. An announcement will be made when new details are available.

* University Libraries is hosting a Gale Digital Collections Lunch and Learn for faculty and students from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. today (Thursday, April 3) on the lower level of Ablah Library.

* A free one hour patent seminar will be held at 2 p.m. today (Thursday, April 3) in 261 Jabara Hall. It has been designed to provide Wichita State faculty, staff and students with information and strategies for acquiring a patent and intellectual property policies at WSU.

* "What Goes Up, Must Come Down: Anthony Overton and the Great Depression" will be presented by Robert E. Weems, Jr., Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at WSU, at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, April 3) in 231 Hubbard Hall.

* Juan Argueta, graduate student in anthropology, will present at the Anthropology Colloquium "Community Archaeology: Refining our Engagements with Local/Descendant Groups," at 4 p.m. today (Thursday, April 3) in 117 Neff Hall.

* WSU student Saajan Bhakta will be the keynote speaker for a Cultural Appreciation Week event hosted by the Office for Multicultural Affairs Ambassadors. Listen to Bhakta speak on the importance of diversity, tolerance and cultural appreciation at 7 p.m. today (Thursday, April 3) in 209 Hubbard Hall.
