* The Alternative Service Committee invites all classified employees and other interested parties to a Town Hall meeting at 2 p.m. today (Monday, April 14) and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the CAC Theater, to learn more on the final white papers for the University Support Staff (USS) conversion proposal. It is important for all classified employees to learn what University Support Staff means to their employment. The meetings will be live streamed at http://www.wichita.edu/asc for employees who are unable to attend.

* The WSU Workgroup has drafted a final version of its recommendations for social media policy, which will be presented to the Kansas Board of Regents this week. See the draft at http://bit.ly/1efCQjB

* The University Libraries and College of Engineering are hosting "IEEE Tips and Tricks for Searching and Authorship" for students and faculty from 12:30-2 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in 123 Wallace Hall.
