Sex Ed Boot Camp: Taking Care of Your Privates
This dynamic duo uses honesty, sensitivity, and humor to teach students:
-- To own and celebrate their sexuality as they define it
-- Advanced techniques to maximize pleasure while playing it safe
-- To learn the difference between hooking up and making love
-- And much more.
With an average of 70 percent of college students identifying as sexually active, STD rates have become startling. Although basic safe sex may have been covered in high school, young adults are curious about what it actually means to become sexual. This program is designed to engage students in conversation about love, sex and everything in between.
This is not your high school Sex Ed lecture!
The program is co-sponsored by Student Health Services, Campus Recreation, Housing Residence Life, Office of International Education, Office of Multicultural Affairs, Student Involvement and the Student Wellness Action Team.
As a follow up to this program, Student Health Services, in partnership with Sedgwick County Health Dept., has set up two free STD (sexually transmitted disease) testing clinics for all currently enrolled WSU students.
Free STD testing for gonorrhea, chlamydia and HIV will be available in Student Health Services from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, and 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 24. Students are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities.
