* A retirement reception will be held in honor of Jim Pearce from 2-4 p.m. today (Friday, April 18) in FLS-35, Media Resources Center. Remarks will be at 2:30 p.m. Pearce, manager of Campus Media Services, has been at the MRC for 15 years.

* Cheer on the WSU baseball team as they host Southern Illinois at 6:30 p.m. today (Friday, April 18); 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19; and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at Eck Stadium. For tickets, call 978-FANS (3267).

* SAC's 21st Annual Spring Family Carnival is 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 19, on the Hubbard Hall east lawn. There will be midway games, pony rides, inflatables and a petting zoo. Tickets are 25 cents a piece or five for $1.

* The Fiscal Year 2015 budget process begins at the departmental level with the entering of budget information into WSU's Enterprise Reporting (ER) software. Budget Officers and Budget Review Officers for state orgs (non-research orgs) are invited to attend one of the upcoming FY15 Budget Information and Enterprise Reporting Training sessions or the Open Lab session for individual help.
