Join the suicide prevention campus walk

This spring, thousands of students across the country will participate in one of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness Campus Walks, including one right here at WSU on Saturday, May 10. Please join the Counseling and Testing Center and the American Foundation For Suicide Prevention in making a difference in our own community by registering to walk with us on May 10.

These fundraising walks will help the foundation fund suicide prevention research, education programs, mental health advocacy and programs for survivors of suicide loss and reaching out to those affected by mental illness.

For college students, suicide is the second-leading cause of death, just behind accidents. Suicides are a public health crisis.

You may register individually or as part of a team. Consider inviting your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to walk with you or to support your walk. If you are not able to join us, perhaps you would consider sponsoring a walker or making a donation to the WSU Campus Walk.
