Enjoy InspirAsian this week

The Office of Multicultural Affairs presents InspirAsian, Asian Awareness Week now through Sunday, April 27. InspirAsian consists of a weeklong series of events, dialogues and workshops by several Asian student organizations. The aim of the week is both to increase campus awareness of Asian and Pacific Islander American concerns, and to celebrate the diversity of the cultures and traditions of Asian Americans on campus.

Action: Humanitarian Efforts In Asia
Come and hear Wichita State's Saajan Bhakta speak about his experiences from India and learn about his nonprofit organization PovSolve Inc.

ASC Assembly
Come to the Asian Student Conference's annual spring assembly. Join us for a fun-filled evening as we celebrate our great organization's 10 year anniversary. This multicultural variety show will showcase the many talents of ASC members and members of other great WSU organizations. With acts from singing to dancing and a few special throwback performances, everybody will have something to enjoy.

VASANT: Color of India
This event 'Vasant' is presented by the Indian Students Association, one of the largest student communities at Wichita State. HOLI: Festival of Colors
Holi is an Indian Festival of colors. People try to color each other using water colors and celebrate wildly. The festival celebrates the beginning of the new season, spring. Every year, thousands of Hindus participate in the festival Holi. Originally, it was a festival that commemorated good harvests and the fertile land. Hindus believe it is a time of enjoying spring's abundant colors and saying farewell to winter.
